“Fast Track” 8 Hour Individual Course

(Course materials are also available in Spanish)

Session One: The applicant is introduced to the program and receives “Fast Track” course materials. Course completion may vary between 1 - 7 days. Extensions allotted when necessary.

Session Two: The applicant returns to have their self tests graded and are counseled on any missed items. If a passing score is achieved the participant will be awarded a course completion certificate after their scheduled counseling session(s). Self tests may also be taken online.

Passing Score: 80 - 100% on each self-test.

Non-Passing: 79% or lower on any self-test. The applicant will be counseled on missed items in order to receive the course completion certificate.

These sessions are conducted in our office by a HUD-certified Home Buyer Education housing counselor. All counseling is done by appointment only. Please call (856) 541-0720 to make your arraignments.

”Fast Track Online" a 24-Hr distance learning version our HUD-certified First Time Home Buyer’s course designed to guide mortgage ready applicants through the process of home ownership. This course may satisfy the 8 hours of education required to benefit from most government, public, and private housing programs.

This learning model allows each student to study at their own pace while keeping to a structured curriculum model designed to give the benefit of both personal classroom interaction and independent study. In addition to having 24/7 personal access to a course moderator through an internal email system, students may also engage in moderated discussions and help each other through our open book study forum where they may view, search, and post questions as well as receive help from each other with the course work.

The “Fast Track Online” curriculum uses the paperback course manual.

Module 1: Comprehensive Final Exam (questions are taken directly from end of chapter            

                  self tests).

Module 2: Course Survey & Scheduling Your Counseling Session

For applicants who choose this option, the course materials will be shipped within 1 to 3 days of registration. * Overnight shipping is available.

Course completion may vary between 1 - 7 days. Extensions allotted when necessary to complete the course work and submit the final self test to the online learning system.

Passing Score: 80% - 100% on the final selftest.

The selftest may be taken 3 times. The highest score will be recorded.

Non-Passing Score after the 3rd try: 79% or below on the final selftest. A course moderator will counsel you and allow you to retake the test.
